Campus Network Woes

ITS is currently working with a consultant to improve wireless/hard wired connections on campus.  At this point, there will be ups and downs in network connectivity.  Please be patient.  We are hoping good things are yet to come.

why aren't we told what they are trying to improve and when their destructive updating is going to end? The internet was working perfect on both the laptop and the desk top before they started screwing around with it now the desktop isn't working at all internet wise.
Seriously, if you're going to post that you're trying to improve something... tell us what you are trying to improve and to what extent.

I feel the exact same way. I have a laptop and I could use both hardwire and wireless access. Then sometime on Wednesday between 10 and 12 I lost my connection. Now the whole west side of Dunn except my room has no internet access. I can get it if I go to someone else's room and use a hardwire connection, but not my own. They really shouldn't have messed with it if there was nothing wrong and to my knowledge, nothing was wrong. So, what went wrong before ITS started messing with our internet?
